Sync Nokia N97 Ovi tak berarti lain bahwa untuk masuk ke Ovi Store, tentunya kalau Anda hendak “shopping” aplikasi berbayar atau gratis, maka perangkat Anda yaitu Nokia N97 harus Sync alias disinkronisasikan dulu.

Jika aplikasi Sync tersebut sudah tersedia di Nokia N97 dan Anda baru mensinkronisasi untuk pertama kalinya, lakukan hal berikut:
- Buka Sync Ovi di perangkat selular.
- Di Wizard sinkronisasi, pilih rincian yang akan disinkronisasi dan frekuensi, lalu aktifkan Sync otomatis.
- Pilih Sinkronkan. Anda harus tersambung ke Internet, bila diminta, agar sinkronisasi berhasil.
Anda dapat memodifikasi pengaturan sinkronisasi pada Nokia N97 dan mensinkronisasikannya menggunakan Ovi secara manual atau otomatis. Tetapi jika Sync Ovi tidak tersedia di perangkat selular Anda, lakukan hal berikut:
- Buka aplikasi Sync di perangkat selular.
- Jika diminta, masukkan rincian account Nokia N97 Anda.
- Pilih Ovi.com sebagai profil sinkronisasi.
- Tekan Pilihan > Sinkronisasi. Anda harus tersambung ke Internet, bila diminta, agar sinkronisasi berhasil.
