Nokia N95 Masih Setara Model Mutakhir
Nokia N95 sebagai pengembangan dari produk N Series memiliki fitur yang tidak berbeda jauh dari pendahulunya, Nokia N93. Dirilis bulan September tahun 2006, usianya sudah memasuki 4 tahun meskipun secara teknis kemampuannya belum out of date.
Meski Nokia N95 didesain two-way slider, yaitu keypadnya baru akan nampak jika bagian atas hand phone ini di geser secara vertikal seperti layaknya disain Nokia mutakhir, tetapi ….. dari segi penampilan yang terkesan kotak membuat N95 agak tertinggal dengan model-model mutakhir, terutama Nokia N97 yang cenderung di setiap ujungnya berbentuk bulat dan terkesan lebih kompak.
Nokia N95 memiliki dimensi fisik 99x53x21mm dan berat 120 gram. Baterai yang digunakan sebagai sumber daya listriknya adalah BL-5F (950 mAh) yang memberikan waktu bicara selama 2 jam 40 menit melalui fasilitas 3G dan 3.5 jam untuk jaringan GSM. Sedangkan jika digunakan untuk memutar musik Nokia N95 akan mampu memperdengarkan sampai 7 jam.
Nokia N95 sudah dibekali dengan perangkat navigasi satelit yang berbasis GPS yang kini seringkali ditawarkan sebagai keunggulan Nokia N97. Saat itu sudah mampu menampilkan aplikasi peta di 100 negara dengan lebih 15 juta titik-titik lokasi. Kemampuannya itu sesuai dengan klasifikasinya sebagai global phone karena Nokia N95 bisa dioperasikan di jaringan GSM 850/900/1800 dan1900 band.
Dengan menggunakan sistem operasi berbasis Symbian S60, Nokia N95 mampu mendukung serangkaian aplikasi untuk mengelola gambar dan foto melalui video klip, multimedia player, visual radio, web browser, email client, file viewer dan perangkat manajemen personal lainnya sebagai fitur standar.
